Pangulong Duterte payag na maging miyembro ng AFP ang mga miyembro ng MILF at MNLF
Bukas si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na mapabilang sa hanay ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang mga miyembro ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
Ayon sa pangulo, ito ay basta dadaan sa tamang proseso ang pag-anib ng MNLF at MILF sa AFP.
Dagdag ng pangulo, hindi siya papayag na magkaroon ng regional armed forces at pulis sakaling maisulong na ang Bangsamoro Basic Law at magkaroon ng Bangsamoro region.
Hinimok pa ng pangulo ang mga Moro na iwasan na ang pakikipag-away sa pamahalaan dahil pare-pareho lang naman na mga Filipino.
“And of course the MI, if they can help, they can be absorbed sa Armed Forces, for those willing, so goes with the MNLF. Pero isang armed forces lang talaga.”
