Task Force kontra mga kolorum na pampublikong sasakyan, inilunsad

Inilunsad ang isang inter-agency task force na magsasagawa ng maigting na kampanya laban sa mga kolorum o mga pampublikong sasakyan na iligal na nag-ooperate.

Ang ‘Task Force Kamao’, na pamumunuan ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), ay naisip ni Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade para pag-isahin ang hakbang laban sa mga kolorum na Public Utility Vehicles na ginagawa ng iba’t-ibang ahensya ng gobyerno na may kinalaman sa transportasyon.

Pero ang bagong task force ay hindi papalitan ang Inter-Agency Council for Traffic (I-ACT).

Pangungunahan ng I-ACT ang operasyon sa Metro Manila para sa Task Force Kamao at si Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group Police Supt. Oliver Tanseco ang magsisilbing tagapagsalita.

Kasama sa Task Force ang Land Transportation Office (LTO), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), PNP-HPG at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
