WATCH: UP shopping center sa Diliman Campus, nasunog

Tinupok ng apoy ang UP shopping center sa loob ng University of the Philippines (UP) sa Diliman, Quezon City.

Nagsimula ang sunog bandang alas 7:050 ng umaga na itinaas sa ikalawang alarma. Alas 8:20 ng umaga nang ideklarang under control na ang sunog.

Ang UP shopping center ay isa sa mga establisyimento sa loob ng UP Campus na itinuturing na institusyon na at makasaysayan.

Kabilang sa matatagpuan sa UP shopping center ang Rodic’s Diner, isang kainan na itinayo noon pang 1949.

Matatagpuan din sa shopping center ang iba pang mga food stall, computer shop, barber shop at photocopying centers.

Aabot naman sa 30 stalls ang tinupok ng apoy.

Alas 8:53 ng umaga nang ideklarang fire out ang sunog.
