Mula Feb. 12, napauwing OFWs na nag-avail ng amnesy sa Kuwait halos 2,000
Umabot na sa 1,982 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) mula Kuwait ang nakauwi ng Pilipinas matapos na mag-avail ng amnestiya.
Sa datos ng inilabas ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ang nasabing bilang ay simula noong February 12 hanggang February 23.
Pinakaraming bilang sa mga umuwing OFWs ay noong February 21 kung saan 491 lahat ang dumating sa NAIA.
Halos araw-araw ay may umuuwing OFWs na pawang amnesty grantee sa Kuwait.
Ayon sa DFA, magtutuloy-tuloy pa ang pag-uwi ng mga distressed OFWs mula Kuwait sa mga susunod na mga araw.
