Paggamit ng e-cigarettes, inendorso sa DOH na isama sa tobacco control program sa bansa
Hinikayat ang Department of Health na iendorso ang paggamit ng electronic cigarettes o vape bilang parte ng tobacco control program sa bansa.
Ayon kay Health Improvement of Public Health Englad (PHE) Professor John Newton, lumabas sa isang pag-aaral na 95 porsyentong mas mababa sa kapahamakan ang paggamit ng vape kaysa sa sigarilyo.
Kasabay ng nicotine replacement therapies, inirekomenda rin ng PHE na magbenta ng e-cigarettes sa mga ospital para sa mga nagsisigarilyo na nais nang tumigil.
Ayon naman sa pinuno ng The Vapers Philippines na si Tom Pinlac, dapat makinig ang otoridad batay sa pag-aaral ng mga eksperto.
Oras na aniya para ikonsidera ng DOH ang naturang ulat ng PHE.
