Niyanig ng napakalakas na lindol ang katimugan at gitnang bahagi ng Mexico ngayong umaga.
Ayon sa US Geological Survey, umabot sa magnitude 7.5 ang lindol, at naitala ang epicenter sa 53 kilometers northeast ng Pinotepa de Don Luis state, malapit sa Pacific coast at may lalim ito na 24 kilometers.
Nagsilabasan naman ang mga tao sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan at mga gusali matapos tumunog ang earthquake alarm system sa Mexico City.
Matapos ang lindol, sunod-sunod na aftershocks rin ang naramdaman sa mga kalapit na lugar.
Sa ngayon, wala pang inilalabas na tsunami warning o advisory ang mga otoridad.
