Inilabas na ng Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) ang shortlist ng mga kandidato bilang bagong Associate Justice ng Court of Appeals (CA).
Lahat ng pitong nominado na napili ng JBC En Banc ay pawang mga kababaihan:
-Maria Celestina Cruz-Mangrobang
-Angelene Mary Quimpo-Sale
-Merianthe Pacita-Zuraek
-Emily Alino-Geluz
-Dorothy Montejo-Gonzaga
-Mila Joy Oallares-Cawed
-Rowena Dela Cruz De Juan-Quinagoran
Ang listahan ay ipapadala kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na siyang pipili sa susunod na mahistrado ng CA.
Ang mapipili ni pangulo ang papalit sa nabakanteng posisyon ng nagretiro na si Justice Leoncia Dimagiba.
