19-member panel binubo para pag-aralan ang amyenda sa Konstitusyon

Nagtalaga na si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng 19-member consultative committee para pag-aralan posibleng amyenda sa ang 1987 Constitution.

Sa gitna na rin ito ng isinusulong ng pangulo na charter change para mabago ang kasalukuyang porma ng gobyerno tungo sa Pederalismo.

Si dating Chief Justice Reynato Puno ang magsisilbing chairman ng komite habang magsisilbi namang miyembro sina dating Supreme Court Associate Justices Beinvenido Reyes, Antonio Nachura at dating Senador Aquilino “Nene” Pimentel Jr.

Magsisilbi ring miyembro ng komite sina Father Ranhilio Aquino na siyang Dean ng San Beda Graduate School of Law, Victor dela Serna, Virgilio Bautista, Rodolfo Robles, Julio Teehankee, Eddie Alih, Edmund Tayao, Ali Balindong, Laurence Wacnang, Roan Libarios, Reuben Canoy, Arthur Aguilar, Susan Ubalde Ordinario, Antonio Arellano at Randolph Parcasio.

Magugunita na noong December, 2016 ay nilagdaan ni Pangulong Duterte ang executive order number 10 na bubuo ng 25-member consulttaive body na magsasagawa ng review sa ating kasalukuyang Saligang Batas.
