Magsasara na sa buwan ng Marso ang operasyon ng online news portal na InterAksyon.com.

Sinabi ni Alampay na bahagi ng cost-cutting efforts ng TV5 network Inc. ang pagsasara ng nasabing news website.
“TV5 will consolidate all digital news properties under news5.com.ph,” ayon pa kay Alampay.
Nauna nang sinabi ni TV5 President Vincent “Chot’ Reyes na magkakaroon ng mga pagbabago sa operasyon ng kanilang media network.
Kabilang dito ang paglulunsad ng partnership sa ESPN para sa apat na taong kontrata na tututtok sa sports programming.
Sinabi rin ni Reyes na isinasapinal na ang partnership nila sa The Walt Disney Co.
Noong nakalipas na taon ay halos 100 mga empleyado ang inalis sa trabaho sa nasabing media firm bilang bahagi ng kanilang cost-cutting measures.
Ang TV5 ang multimedia at broadcasting arm ng telco giant na PLDT-Smart.
