Regularisasyon ng 8,000 empleyado ng PLDT, ipinag-utos ng DOLE
Ipinag-utos na ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) ang regularization ng aabot sa 8,000 contractual wrokers at bayaran ang P66 milyon na benepisyo ng mga ito.
Tinanggihan ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III ang apela ng PLDT na baliktarin ang compliance order na inisyu ng National Capital Region regional office noong nakaraang taon.
Sa complaince order, inilahad ang pagbibigay ng regular employment sa mga nasabing empleyado kabilang ang mga benepisyo.
Paliwanag ng kalihim, walang nakikitang merito ang kanyang opisina para baguhin ang DOLE-NCR order.
