Dela Rosa, Guerrero, at Lorenzana, dumalo sa oral arguments ng SC sa Martial Law extension
Dumalo sa oral arguments ng Supreme Court en banc sina Philippine National Police Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief-of-Staff Rey Leon Guerrero, at si Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana.
Ito’y para sa pagtalakay ng Korte Suprema sa petisyon na isinampa laban sa pagpapalawig ng Martial Law sa Mindanao.
Tatalakayin ng Supreme Court en banc ngayong araw ang apat na pinagsamang petisyon kontra-Martial Law sa Mindanao na isinampa ng iba’t ibang mga grupo, kabilang na ang National Union of Lawyers, grupo nina dating Commission on Human Rights Chairman Etta Rosales, constitutionalist na si Christian Monsod, at ni Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman.
Ipinaglalaban ng mga grupo na walang sapat na batayan ang gubyerno para palawigin pa ang martial law sa Mindanao.
Matatandaang ipinatawag ng Korte Suprema sina Dela Rosa at Guerrero dahil sila ang ‘implementers’ ng Martial Law sa Mindanao, habang si Lorenzana naman ang Martial Law administrator.
