Passport ranking ng Pilipinas sa buong mundo mas tumaas
Welcome sa Malacañang ang pang 72nd ranking ng pilipinas sa hanay ng mga bansa na may makapangyarihang passport sa buong mundo.
Reaksyon ito ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque Jr., sa mas magandang ranking ng pilipinas sa 2018 Henley passport index.
Mas mataas ito sa ranking ng pilipinas noong nakaraang taon na pang 75th.
Ang mas magandang ranking ay dulot ng free visa access ng mga passport holder sa kabuang 63 bansa.
“We are assuring everyone that our people at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will continue to work towards securing visa-free access of Filipinos to more countries,” sabi ni Roque.
Kaugnay nito, tiniyak ni Roque na ginagawan na ng paraan ng Department of Foreign Affairs para mapabilis ang proseso ng passport application at mabura ang backlog nito.
Kabilang dito ang pagpapatupad ng mas pinaganda at mas user-friendly Online Appointment System (OAS), paglalagay ng E-Payment system, at OFW lanes pati na ang deployment ng passport on wheels umpisa sa January 2018 para ma- decongest ang consular office.
