Hearing para sa fare hike ng PUVs at Grab, itinakda sa Pebrero

Nagtakda na ng petsa ang Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) para sa pagdinig sa mga inihaing petisyon sa dagdag-pasahe ng mga Public Utility Vehicles at Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS).

Nagsumite ng petisyon ang mga PUJs na humihiling na makapagtaas sila ng pasahe mula 8 pesos hanggang 10 pesos na minimum fare.

Dalawang beses nang ipinagpaliban ang pagdinig dahil nais ng mga grupo na maamyendahan ang kanilang petisyon kasunod ng matinding epekto ng mas mataas na excise tax sa mga produktong petrolyo dahil sa TRAIN Law.

Ayon kay LTFRB spokesperson Aileen Lizada, sabay na ang gaganaping pagdinig sa February 13 para sa petisyon ng mga jeepney operators at ang petisyon naman ng Philippine National Taxi Operators Association o PNTOA.

Itinakda naman sa February 14 ang kahilingan ng GRAB Philippines na 5 percent fare increase.
