Isang malakas at mababaw na lindol sa coastal waters na sakop ng Honduras.
Ang Magnitude 7.6 na pagyanig ay nag-trigger ng tsunami threat advisory sa kalapit na Caribbean Sea.
Sa ngayon, wala pang ulat ng pinsala o nasugatan dahil sa lindol.
Ang sentro ng lindol ay naitala 27 miles o 44 kilometers silangan ng Great Swan Island, at mababawa lamang ayon sa U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
Sinabi naman ng U.S. National Weather Pacific Tsunami Warning Center na base sa preliminaty earthquake parameters, posible ang mapaminsalang tsunami waves sa mga dalampasigan sa loob ng 1,000 kilometer radius na mula sa sentro ng lindol.
