DILG-OIC Eduardo Año, tutulong sa internal cleansing ng PNP
Tutulong ang bagong pamunuan ng Department of Interior and Local Government upang pagandahin ang imahe ng Philippine National Police.
Ayon kay PNP Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa, nagkausap na sila ng bagong-talagang Officer-in-Charge ng DILG na si Eduardo Año.
Ayon kay Gen. Bato, nangako si Año na tutulungan siyang magpatupad ng internal-cleansing sa police force.
Paliwanag ng PNP Chief, marahas na ang kanyang pamunuan kontra mga pulis-iskalawags o mga tiwaling pulis.
“We’ve been harsh already. Maybe we have been harsher this time around. Harsh, harsh, harsh, to the harshest level. Basta wala kaming patawad. No mercy kami sa mga tiwaling pulis,” ayon kay Bato.
Inihalimbawa ng PNP Chief ang apat na pulis na nagpaputok ng baril noong Pasko at Bagong Taon na tiyak umanong sibak kaagad sa pwesto dahil sa paglabag sa batas.
