Business class na byahe sa abroad ipinagtanggol ng pinuno ng CHED
Dumepensa si Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Patricia Licuanan sa bagong kontrobersiya na ibinabato sa kanya.
Kaugnay ito ng post sa facebook ni Puwersa ng Bayaning Atleta Partylist Rep. Jericho Nograles kung saan nito kinuwestiyon ang pag-aapruba nito ng kanyang sariling biyahe at hindi pagpapadaan dito sa opisina ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Kasabay nito, ipinost din ni Nograles ang mga diumano’y travel authority na inisyu mismo ni Licuanan.
Paliwanag ni Licuanan, ang ipinakita ng partylist congressman ay internal authority to travel na ginagamit nila para iproseso ang pondo para dito at isa sa attachment para makakuha ng pahintulot mula sa Malacañang.
Bilang patunay, naglabas si Licuanan ng kopya ng travel authority na inisyu sa kanya ng Office of the President.
Sinabi naman ni CHED Internal Affairs Director Lily Milla na base sa memorandum circular no. 7 ng Office of the President ay pinayagan si Licuanan na bumiyahe sa pamamagitan ng business class dahil sa vertigo nito.
Matatandang ilang appointees na ni Pangulong Duterte ang sinibak na nito sa posisyon dahil sa dami ng mga foreign trips.
