DOJ makakatuwang ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng gobyerno sa imbestigasyon sa Lumad
Maaaring maging katuwang ng joint investigation team ng National Bureau of Investigation at National Prosecution Service sa pag-iimbestiga sa diumano’y panggigipit sa mga Lumad ang iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno.
Gaya na lamang ng National Commission on Indigenous People, Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Commission on Human Rights, pati na ang Armed Forces of the Philippines, Department of Interior and Local Government at mga Local Govenment Units.
Sa bisa ng department order ng DOJ, inaatasan din ang NPS-NBI special investigation team na kumalap ng mga testimonya at ebidensya mula sa nabanggit na mga ahensya ng gobyerno, maging ang mga documentation report ng mga insidente ng panggigipit na ginawa ng mga non-government organizations, people’s organization at lokal na media.
Pinakakalap din ng kagawaran ang kopya ng mga medico-legal, autopsy at ballistic report at hospital records sa mga insidente na humantong sa pananakit, panggagahasa, torture at pagkamatay ng biktima.
