30 porsyento ng mga apektadong lugar sa Marawi ligtas na sa IED – AFP

Na-clear ng militar ang 30% ng mga apektadong lugar ng unexploded ordnance at improvised explosive device (IED) sa Marawi City.
Ito ay sa nakalipas na dalawang buwan mula nang mapalaya sa kamay ng Maute group ang Marawi City. Ayon kay Major General Arnold Rafael Depakakibo, chief engineer ng Armed Forces of the Philippines, cleared na rin ang tinatayang 20 kilometrong kalsada ng primary at secondary roads, ang tatlong pangunahing tulay at tatlong lugar ng sambahan sa lungsod. Sinabi ni Depakakibo na katuwang nila ang Department of Public Works and Highways dito. Ayon kay Depakakibo, narekober nila ang 2,653 samu’t saring unexploded ordnance at 415 IEDs as of December 15.
