Malacañang naglabas ng mga listahan ng mga pinapayagang uri ng paputok
Ilang araw bago ang pagsalubong sa taong 2018, umaapela ang Malacañang sa publiko na iwasan na gumamit ng mga ipinagbabawal na paputok.
Base sa ipinalabas na statement ng Office of the Executive Secretary, nakasaad executive order 28 na community fireworks display ang ipatutupad ng mga local government units.
Ipinagbabawal ang paggamit ng mahigit na dalawang gramo ng pulbura ng sulfur o phosphorus na may halong chlorates.
Kabilang dito ang piccolo, super lolo, whistle bomb, goodbye earth at Aaomic big triangulo.
Sa kabilang dako ay pinahihintulutan naman sa ilalim ng Republic Act 7183 ang paggamit ng baby rocket, bawang, small triangulo, pulling of strings, kwitis, el diablo, watusi at sintron ni hudas.
Pinahihintulutan din ang paggamit ng sparklers tulad ng lusis, fountain, jumbo regular and special , trompillo, airwolf, butterfly at roman candle.
