Higit 5,000 pasahero, stranded na dahil sa bagyong ‘Vinta’

Nadagdagan pa ang bilang ng mga pasahero na stranded dulot ng bagyong Vinta.

Mula sa 1,500, lumubo na sa 5, 365 ang bilang ng mga pasaherong hindi nakabyahe.

Pinakamarami sa mga standed ay sa North Harbor Port sa Manila na may record na 1,230.

Sinundan naman ito ng Dapitan Port sa Northern Mindanao na may 1,030 stranded passengers at Tinago Port sa Central Visayas na may 541.

Samantala, aabot naman na sa 435 rolling cargo, 62 vessels at 18 motor banca ang hindi nakapaglayag.

Patuloy na pinaaalalahanan ng Coast Guard ang lahat ng shipping owners at operator no sail regulation sa panahon ng bagyo.

Kaugnay nito, ay nakaalerto na rin ang lahat ng rescue units ng PCG at maging ang kanilang medical team ay naka heightened alert na rin.
