Kananga, Leyte isinailalim sa state of calamity
Itinaas na ang state of calamity sa bayan ng Kananga, Leyte dahil sa Bagyong Urduja.
Batay sa resolusyon ng Kananga Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, ito ay dahil sa malawakang baha na naranasan sa lugar.
Nangangahulugan itong maaaring ipatupad ang price freeze sa mga pangunahing bilihin, at mapabilis ang paglabas ng pondo para sa disaster response at relief operations.
Samantala, una nang isinailalim sa stae of calamity ang ilan pang bayan sa Leyte, gaya ng Carigara, Ormoc City, at Tacloban City.
