Mga mahistrado ng Korte Suprema, humarap sa Kamara para sa impeachment hearing vs Sereno
Tatlong kasalukuyang mahistrado at isang retiradong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema ang dumalo sa pagdinig ng house justice committee ngayong araw sa impeachment complaint laban kay Supreme Court Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno.
Kabilang sa mga humarap sa kamara sina Supreme Court Associate Justices Francis Jardeleza, Noel Tijam, Teresita De Castro, retired Justice Arturo Brion at si Court Administrator Midas Marquez.
Ipagpapatuloy ang mga nauna nang testimonya at pagtatanong kina Justice De Castro at Marquez.
Habang si Justice Jardeleza at Brion ay humarap sa kamara para sumagot hinggil sa alegasyon ng pagmanipula umano sa shortlist ng Judicial and Bar Council.
Si Justice Tijam naman ay maglalahad hinggil sa alegasyon na pag-manipula at pag-delay ng punong mahistrado sa resolusyon sa kahilingan ng Department of Justice na ilipat ang pagdinig sa mga kaso ng mga naarestong miyembro ng Maute.
Una nang sinabi ni House Justice Committee Chairman Reynaldo Umali na maaring sa Enero na madesisyonan ng komite ang isyu kung may probable cause ba para isulong ang impeachment complaint laban kay Sereno.
