Naglabas ng warrant of arrest ang korte laban kay George San Mateo, national president ng grupong PISTON.
Ito ay kaugnay sa isinampang kaso ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ng paglabag sa Section 20 (k) at Section 24 ng Commonwealth Act No. 14 o Public Service Act matapos magsagawa ng tigil-pasada noong February 27, 2017 para tutulan ang Jeepney Modernization program.
Ayon sa reklamo ng LTFRB, nagdulot ng matinding perwisyo sa commuters ang ginawang tigil-pasada ng PISTON.
Sa inilabas na warrant of arrest ni Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 43 Presiding Judge Don Ace Mariano Alagar, inatasan nito ang National Bureau of Investigation at PNP-CIDG para ipatupad ang arrest order.
Nagtakda naman ng P4,000 piyansa ang korte para pansamantalang kalayaan ni San Mateo.
