Dating Talibon, Bohol bishop Noel, pumanaw na
Pumanaw na si retired Talibon, Bohol bishop Christian Vicente Fernandez Noel sa edad na 80 matapos nitong makipaglaban sa sakit na prostate cancer.
Ayon kay Fr. Japheth Geonzon na liturgist ng Archdiocese ng Cebu na siya ring kasama ni Noel sa ospital, 2:44 ng madaling araw ng Linggo nang pumanaw ang dating obispo.
Nataon ang pagpanaw ni Noel sa feast day ng Solemnity of Christ the King.
Ani Geonzon, ibuburol ang katawan ni Noel sa Tanchan Hall sa loob ng Archbishop’s Residence compound sa D. Jakosalem Street ng Cebu City simula ngayong araw hanggang sa Miyerkules, November 29.
Magkakaroon ng public viewing at misa para sa dating obispo.
Sa December 4 naman ihahatid sa huling hantungan si Noel sa Talibong Cathedral sa Bohol, kung saan ito nanilbihan bilang obispo sa loob ng halos 28 na taon.
