China, inalok ni Pangulong Duterte na maging telecom carrier sa Pilipinas
Nais ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na pumasok ang China sa Pilipinas bilang ikatlong telecommunications operator.
Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na mismong si Pangulong Duterte ang nag-alok sa China para mag-operate sa Pilipinas bilang telecommunications carrier.
Kung matutuloy, magwawakas na ayon kay Roque ang matagal nang paghahari ng dalawang telecommunications company sa bansa.
“The telecommunications duopoly in the country is about to end,” Ani Roque.
Ang local telecoms industry sa Pilipinas ay dominado ng Smart Communications at Globe Telecom.
Ani Roque, ang alok ay binanggit ng pangulo sa bilateral talks nito sa China sa katatapos na ASEAN Summit.
