Pilipinas nagparating ng pakikiramay sa mga nilindol sa Iraq at Iran

Nagpaabot ng pakikiramay ang Pilipinas sa pamahalaan ng Iran at Iraq makaraan silang yanigin ng magnitude 7.2 na lindol.

Sa pinakahuling tala ay umaabot na sa mahigit sa 200 ang bilang ng mga patay sa nasabing lindol.

“The people of the affected areas of Iran and Iraq are in our thoughts and prayers today….Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of those who lost their lives in this tragedy,” bahagi ng pahayag ni Foreign Affairs Sec. Alan Cayetano.

Naganap ang lindol kanilang pasado alas-dos ng madaling-araw, oras sa Maynila.

Sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador to Tehran Wilfredo Santos na grabeng naapektuhan ng lindol ang mga lungsod ng Sapol at Ilam kung saan ay may ilang Pinoy ang namumuhay doon.

Humigi’t kumulang ay may tatlong libong mga Pinoy ang nakatira sa Iran at Iraq ayon sa nasabing opisyal pero nasa maayos na kalagayan naman ang mga ito.
