Pinay, nakasungkit ng gold medal sa weightlifting tournament sa South Korea
Wagi ang isang 19-year-old na Filipina sa isang weightlifting tournament sa Yanggu, South Korea.
Mag-uuwi ang criminology student na si Elien Rose Perez ng gold at silver medal matapos manalo sa katatapos lang na 2017 Asian Senior Cup Weightlifting Championships na ginanap sa Yongha gymnasium.
Lumahok si Perez, na tubong Tagbilaran City, Bohol sa 53 kilograms women’s division ng weightlifting championships.
Ayon kay Perez, happy at blessed siya dahil binigyan siya ng Diyos ng oportunidad na panalo sa kumpetisyon.
Nagsimula aniya siyang mag-weightlifting noong siya ay siyam na taong gulang pa lamang.
