MSMEs, hindi dapat mabahala sa ASEAN integration
Hindi banta sa micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) ang integrasyon ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) ayon sa ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC).
Ayon kay ASEAN BAC Executive Director Gil Gonzales, sa halip ito ay oportunidad sa MSMEs na magkaroon ng access sa mas malaking market.
Aniya may global market na nag-aabang sa ASEAN na mayroong magandang teknolohiya, may manpower at innovation.
Sinabi ni ASEAN BAC Chairman Joey Concepcion na walang dapat ipag-alala ang MSMEs dahil palalakihin lamang ang ekonomiya ng 10 bansa nang sama-sama.
Batay sa ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint, nagkakahalagang $2.6 trilyon ang oportunidad na mayroon ang ASEAN Economic Community, na binubuo ng mahigit 622 milyong katao.
Ayon kay Concepcion na ilulunsad ang ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network (AMEN) sa ASEAN Business and Investment Summit na gaganapin sa November 12-14.
Layunin aniya nitong ipaunawa sa publiko ang ASEAN integration.
Ang ASEAN ay binubuo ng mga bansang Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pilipinas, Singapore, Thailand, at Vietnam.
