12 turista na napagkamalang Islamist militants, patay matapos pagbabarilin ng Egyptian forces
Patay ang hindi bababa sa labing dalawang turista kasama ang kanilang mga tourist guides matapos pagbabarilin ng Egyptian security forces ang kanilang convoy.

Matagal nang problema sa Egypt ang insurgency matapos mapatalsik si Islamist President Mohamed Morsi noong 2013.
