Dr. Francisco Duque itinalaga bilang bagong DOH Secretary

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Dr. Francisco Duque III bilang Kalihim ng Department of Health.

Pinalitan ni Duque si dating Health Sec. Jean Pauline Ubial makaraang ibasura ng Commission on Appointments ang kanyang ad interim appointment.

Si Duque ay dati na ring naitalaga bilang Health Secretary noong panahon ni dating Pangulong Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

Sa ilaim ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Noynoy Aquino ay pinamunuan ni Duque ang Civil Service Commission na nagtagal hanggang noong 2015.

Bago ang kanyang muling appointment sa DOH, si Duque ay itinalaga ng pangulo bilang board member sa Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
