“Ace pilot” bagong pinuno ng Philippine Air Force
Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang turnover ceremony para sa bagong Commanding General ng Philippine Air Force sa Clark, Pampanga.
Pinalitan ni Lt. Gen. Galileo Kintanar si Lt. Gen. Edgar Fallorina na bumaba sa kanyang pwesto makaraang maabot ang mandatory age of retirement na 56.
Si Kintanar ay miyembro ng Philippine Military Academy “Sandiwa” Class of 1985.
Kabilang sa mga posisyon na kanyang pinamunuan sa loob ng PAF ay ang Air Education Training Command, Chief of Air Staff ng PAF, Commander ng 15th Strike Wing at Chief of the AFP Office of Strategic Studies.
Sinabi ni AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Eduardo Año na isang silent worker at mahusay na strategist si Kintanar bukod pa sa pagiging ace pilot ng Philippine Air Force.
Naging pinuno rin si Kintanar ng AFP Western Command na pangunahing tagabantay ng bansa sa bahagi ng West Philippine Sea.
