Panukalang 2018 budget, aprubado na sa ikatlong pagbasa ng Kamara

Lusot na sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ng Kamara ang panukalang 3.7 Trillon pesos na gugulin ng bansa para sa taong 2018.

Sa botong 223 na YES at 9 na NO, inaprubahan ang House Bill 6215 0 ang 2018 General Appropriations Act.

Kabilang sa top agencies na may pinakamalaking alokasyon ang:
1. Department of Education (DepEd) – (567.562B
2. Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – 458.610-B
3. Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) – 150.051B
4. Department of National Defense (DND) – 134.543B
5. Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – 129.912B
6. Department of Health (DOH) – 94.047B
7. Deparment of Transportation (DOTr) – 55.479B
8. Department of Agriculture (DA) – 45.292B
9. Judiciary – 32.542B
10. Department of Natural Resources (DENR) – 29.371B

Kasama sa inaprubahang panukala ang pondo para sa Build Build Build program ng Duterte adminstration

Nakapaloob din dito ang 40 billion pesos na gagamiting pantustos sa Free Higher Education sa susunod na taon.

Mas mataas ang nasabing budget ng 12.4 percent kumpara sa tauunang budget ngayong taong 2017.

Sa inaprubahang 2018 budget kasama na ang para sa Commission on Human Rights (CHR), National Commission for Indiigenous People (NICP) at Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) na naunang binigyan ng tig 1,000 pesos na budget pero kalaunan ay binawi rin ng Kamara.

Matapos maaprubahan sa Kamara, hihintayin na lamang ng Senate version bago ito dalhin sa bicameral committee saka i-akyat sa palasyo ng Malakanyang upang malagdaan ng Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
