National Intelligence Committee ipina-overhaul ni Duterte
Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang reorganization ng National Intelligence Committee.
Base sa kanyang Administrative Order number 7, inamyendahan nito ang Administrative Order No. 68 para maisama sa N.I.C ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Philippine Coast Guard at Office of Transportation Security.
Gusto ni Duterte na mas lalo pang palakasin ang intelligence gathering capabilities ng naturang komite.
Kailangan umano ang ganitong pagbabago para higit na mabigyan ng proteksyon ang ating bansa laban sa mga kalaban ng estado lalo na sa aspeto ng terorismo.
Ang National Intelligence Committee ay binuo noong 2003 para magsilbing advisory ng National Intelligence Coordinationg Agency (NICA).
