Salalima, magre-resign dahil sa “conflict of interest”
Conflict of interest ang ugat ng pagbibitiw ni Informations and Communications Technology Sec. Rodolfo Salalima sa pwesto.
Kinumpirma naman ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na tatanggapin niya ang resignation ni Salalima bilang “delicadeza.”
Ayon sa pangulo, sa ngayon ay naghahanap na siya ng maaaring pumalit kay Salalima sa DICT.
Si Salalima ay naging kaklase ni Duterte sa San Beda College of Law, at dating mataas na opisyal sa isang telecom company.
Una nang sinabi ng Malacañang na “personal and work-related” reasons ang dahilan ng pagbibitiw sa pwesto ni Salalima.
Gayunman, hindi naman naging malinaw kung kaugnay saan ang sinasabing “conflict of interest” na kaniyang kinasasangkutan.
