Hurricane Maria, lumakas pa, isa nang category 5 hurricane

(UPDATE) Lumakas pa at maituturing nang ‘extremely dangerous’ hurricane ang bagyong Maria.

Patungo na sa Leeward Islands sa Carribean ang nasabing bagyo at anumang oras ay tatama sa kalupaan.

Ayon sa pagtaya ng National Hurricane Center, posibleng tahakin ng Hurricane Maria ang tinahak ng bagyong Irma.

Ayon sa NHC, umabot na sa category 5 hurricane ang Maria.

Tagkay nito ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 130 miles per hour.

Nakataas pa rin ang hurricane watch sa Puerto Rico, St Martin, St Barts, Saba, St Eustatius at Anguilla.

Habang hurricane warnings naman ang nakataas sa Guadeloupe, Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, Martinique, St Lucia, US Virgin Islands at British Virgin Islands.

Kaugnay nito, inaprubahan na ni US President Donald Trump ang emergency declaration para sa US Virgin Islands.

Ang nasabing isla ay labis ding naapektuhan ng Hurricane Irma.
