Gun Ban para sa SK at Bgy. polls, simula na sa Sept. 23
Kaugnay ng paghahanda para sa paparating na Barangay at SK elections, magsisimula ng magpatupad ang Commission on Election ng Gun ban mula September 23 hanggang October 30.
Sa ilalim ng Resolution number 10197 na inilabas ng COMELEC, ipinagbabawal na ang pagdadala ng armas at mga patalim sa labas ng bahay at pampublikong lugar.
Ipinagbabawal rin ang pagbyahe at pagdedeliver ng mga baril, bala, mga pampasabog at anumang mga parte nito.
Hindi rin papayagan ang employment at pagkuha ng serbisyo ng security personnel o body guards kahit ito pa ay regular na myembro o tauhan mula sa Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines at iba pang law enforcement agency ng gobyerno o mula sa private security service provider.
Magsisimula ng tumanggap mula September 21 ang COMELEC Committee on the Ban of Firearms and Security Personnel ng aplikasyon para sa issuance ng authority sa pagbibitbit o pagbabyahe ng mga armas at mga patalim.
