Cab driver na umano’y hinoldap ni Arnaiz, nasa kustodiya ng isang Ecumenical Church rights group

Nasa ilalim ng kustodiya ng isang ecumenical Church rights group sa Maynila ang taxi driver na sinasabing tinangkang holdapin ng napatay na si Carl Angelo Arnaiz.

Sa inilabas na pahayag ng grupong ‘Rise Up For Life and For Rights’ sa Facebook, sinabi ng grupo na lumapit si Tomas M. Bagcal upang humingi ng tulong noong September 4.

Anila, kasama ni Bagcal ang kanyang pamilya sa ilalim ng ‘protective custody’ ng nasabing grupo.

Ayon sa Rise Up, positibo nilang tinanggap ang hiling ng pamilya na mapasailalim sa kanilang kustodiya at masaya sila sa tiwala na ibinibigay ng mga ito.

Biglang naglaho si Bagcal ilang sandali nang matagpuan ng mga magulang ni Arnaiz ang bangkay nito sampung araw matapos itong maiulat na nawawala.

Si Arnaiz ay napatay ng mga pulis matapos umanong manlaban matapos tangkaing holdapin si Bangkal.
