Ginagawang Sheraton Hotel sa Pasay, tinupok ng apoy
Nasunog ang ginagawang gusali ng Sheraton Hotel sa Pasay City katabi lamang ng Resorts World Manila.
Nagsimula ang sunog pasado alas 3:30 ng hapon sa roof deck ng gusali.
Ayon kay Southern Police District (SPD) director CSupt. Tomas Apolinario, mayroong welding works sa roof deck ng ginagawang hotel.
Umabot sa ikalawang alarma ang sunog bago naideklarang fire out alas 4:22 ng hapon.
Nagdulot naman ito ng pagsisikip sa daloy ng traffic sa palibot ng Newport City malapit sa NAIA terminal 3.
Ayon naman sa abiso ni CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco, ang makapal na usok bunsod ng sunog ay hindi nagdulot ng pagkabalam sa Air Traffic Control.
