Umano’y drug lord sa Southern Leyte, napatay ng mga otoridad
Nasawi sa buy-bust operation ang isa sa hinihinalang top drug personality sa bayan ng Sogod, sa Southern Leyte.
Nasawi matapos umanong manlaban sa mga otoridad ang suspek na nakilalang si Gilbert Dagting, 37-anyos residente ng Barangay Salvacion.
Ayon kay Chief Insp. Delfin Tan, hepe ng Sogod Drug Enforcement Team sa panayam ng Inquirer, kabilang sa listahan ng mga drug suspects ang suspek.
Sumuko na umano dati sa Oplan Tokhang si Dagting ngunit hindi pa rin tumigil sa kanyang iligal na operasyon.
Diumano, natunugan ng suspek na pulis ang kanyang ka-transaksyon kaya’t bumunot ito ng baril.
Gayunman, naunahan ito ng mga pulis kaya’t agad siyang napatay.
