Nakipagpulong muli si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mga opisyal ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front o MILF sa Malakanyang kahapon.
Kasama sa pulong si MILF Chair Al Haj Murad Ebrahim at sina Bangsamoro Transition Commission o BTC Chair Ghazali Jaafar at MILF peace implementing panel Chair Mohagher Iqbal.
Dumalo rin sa meeting sina BTC Commissioner Abdulraof Macacua at BTC Executive Director Esmael Pasigan.
Sa hanay naman ng gabinete ni Duterte, present sina Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Jesus Dureza, National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr. at Interior and Local Government Acting Secretary Catalino Cuy.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella, sa pulong ay tiniyak ni Duterte sa MILF na executive priority bill ang BBL, sa kabila ng concern ng grupo na walang sponsor ang panukala sa Kongreso.
Kinukunsidera rin daw ng pangulo ang BBL bilang mahalagang panukalang batas, na kailangan para sa hinaharap at inaasam na kapayapaan.
