Hindi bababa sa 100 aso, sinanay para sa disaster at rescue operations
Hindi bababa sa 100 mga aso ang sinanay ng MMDA K9 Corps, UP ROTC at UP Vanguard Incorporated sa University of the Philippines ngayong araw.
Ito’y upang maging rescue assets din ang ang mga alagang aso at makatulong sa panahon ng kalamidad at trahedya.
Ayon kay Mon Santiago, consultant MMDA Consultant DRRM, mahalagang maturuan ang mga aso dahil maaari sila maging ‘first responder’ lalo na sa posibleng pagtama ng pinangangambahang the Big one sa Metro Manila.
Lahat ng lahi ng aso ay pwedeng i-enrol sa naturang program pati na ang mga street dogs.
3 buwan tatagal ang training at libre ito para sa mga dog owner.
