Ang nasabing opisina rin ang nangangasiwa sa international military affairs.
Dahil sa bagong pwesto, iiwan na ni Padilla ang kaniyang posisyon bilang assistant deputy chief of staff for civil-military operations o AJ7.
Gayunman, mananatili pa rin siyang tagapagsalita ng AFP.
