Paglipat ni Espenido sa Western Visayas, kumpirmado na
Kinumpirma na ng Western Visayas Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) ang kautusan na lilipat na sa kanila kay Chief Insp. Jovie Espenido mula sa Ozamiz City police.
Ayon sa PRO-6 Public Information Office, umiral na ang special order kahapon, August 29.
Tutukuyin naman ang kaniyang magiging mismong designation pagkatapos niyang mag-courtesy call sa PRO-6.
Samantala, inanunsyo rin ng PRO-6 ang pagkakalipat nu Senior Supt. Remus Zacharias Canieso na hepe ng Iloilo City Police Office, sa Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) bilang hepe ng directorial staff ng regional police office doon.
Si Canieso ay pinalitan ni Senior Supt. Jesus Cambay Jr. na PRO-6 deputy regional director of operations.
Una nang sinabi ni PRO-6 spokesperson Supt. Gilbert Gorero na nasa kamay ng national headquarters ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang magiging posisyon ni Espenido.
Base kasi sa PNP organizational structure, hindi maaring magsilbi bilang hepe ng Iloilo City police o Iloilo Provincial Police Office (IPPO) si Espenido dahil senior superintendent dapat ang ranggo ng uupo bilang hepe ng provincial o city police director.
Si Espenido ay may ranggo lang na chief inspector, dalawang antas na mas mababa sa senior superintendent, kaya disqualified siya sa posisyon na ito.
Sa kasalikuyan niyang ranggo, maari lang siyang manilbihan bilang station commander o kaya ay pinuno ng mga sangay tulad ng intelligence, operations at administration.
