Inflation rate ng Pilipinas ngayong July, tumaas ng 2.8 percent

Bahagyang tumaas sa 2.8 percent ang inflation rate ng bansa nitong July ayon sa datos na inilabas ng Philippine Statistics Authority o PSA kahapon.

Ayon sa PSA, nakaapekto sa pagtaas ng inflation rate ang pagtaas ng presyo ng ‘housing and utilities’ kabilang ang tubig, kuryente at gas, transpotasyon, edukasyon at ‘restaurant and miscellaneous goods and services’.

Mas mabilis ito sa 2.7 percent na revised inflation rate na naitala noong Hunyo ngayong taon.

Nagtala nang pinakamalaking pagtaas ang presyo ng transportasyon na umabot sa 3.8 percent; sinundan ng edukasyon sa 2.3 percent; housing and utilities na pumalo sa 2.2 percent; at restaurant and miscellaneous goods and services na nagtala ng 2.1 percent na pagtaas.

Samantala, ayon sa Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas at kay Economic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia, ang inflation rate ng bansa ay nananatiling ‘manageable’ at pasok pa sa 2-4 percent na target ng pamahalaan.
