Moratorium sa pagsasagawa ng field trip, inalis na ng CHED

Binawi na ng Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ang ipinatupad na temporary ban sa pagsasagawa ng field trips at iba pang off-campus activities sa mga pampubliko at pribadong higher education institutions sa bansa.

Ang moratorium ay ipinatupad noong Pebrerdo matapos ang aksidenteng naganap sa Tanay, Rizal na ikinasawi ng labinglimang estudyante.

Sa kaniyang kautusan, sinabi ni CHED Chairperson Patricia Licuanan na binibigyan ng otorisasyon ang lahat ng higher education institutions na maglatag ng polisiya sa pagsasagawa ng off-campus activities bilang bahagi ng curriculum.

Samantala, mananatili naman ang pag-iral ng moratorium sa pagsasagawa ng field trips sa basic education.

Ayon sa pahayag ng Department of Education (DepEd) tuloy ang moratorium sa field trip sa pre-school, elementary hanggang high school hangga’t hindi nasasapinal ang polisiya sa mga off-campus activity.
