291 na mga OFWs mula Jeddah, nakabalik na ng bansa

Dumating na sa bansa ang 291 repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) mula Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Dumating ang malaking bilang ng mga OFW sa NAIA terminal 1 ganap na alas-9:30 ng umaga ng Huwebes, July 20, sakay ng PAL Flight 663.

Sinalubong ng mga kinatawan mula sa the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), at Department of Health (DOH) ang mga OFW.

Sila ay na-repatriate mula Jeddah matapos na mapagkalooban ng amenstiya ng Saudi government.

Samantala, madaling araw naman ng Huwebes ay dumating din sa bansa ang 75 undocumented OFWs galing sa Sarawak, Malaysia.

Sa sila ng Cebu Pacific flight 5J- 734 nang dumating sa NAIA Terminal 3.

Nabatid na ang mga nasabing bilang ng mga OFWs ay nakauwi sa Pilipinas matapos magpasailalim sa repatriation program.
