May mga ulat ng kumakalat na ilang bibliya na nasa wikang Maranao ang ipinapamahagi sa mga bakwit mula sa Marawi City.

Hindi naman ito ikinatuwa ng Muslim community.

Dahil dito, nanawagan ang isang Lanao Del Sur official na huwag haluan ng religious activity ang kanilang pagbibigay ng tulong.
