NGCP, gagamit ng chopper para sa aerial patrol sa mga nasirang linya ng kuryente sa Leyte
Nakararanas pa rin ng island-wide blackout ang mga lalawigan ng Samar, Bohol at Southern Leyte, at bahagi ng Northern Leyte.
Wala pang maibigay na estimated time ng restoration ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) sa mga lugar na apektado ng blackout matapos ang naganap na magnitude 6.5 na lindol sa Leyte.
Ayon sa NGCP, hindi pa nila natatapos ang inspeksyon sa linya sa mga apektadong lalawigan kung saan, daan-daang kilometrong linya ang kailangang suriin.
Ngayong araw, gagamit na ang NGCP ng helicopters para mas mapabilis ang aerial patrol.
“We have not yet completed the inspection of our affected facilities. Hundreds of kilometers of lines and several substations are involved. We are utilizing our helicopters to expedite completion of necessary inspections. We are also already mobilizing the people and equipment necessary for an expedited restoration. We ask for your patience.,” ayon sa NGCP.
Dahil sa kapos na suplay ng kuryente bunsot ng outage ng power plants sa Leyte, sinabi ng NGCP na makararanas din ng power interruption ang mga residente sa Cebu, Negros at Panay.
