Maaari aniyang magtungo ang intertropical convergence zone sa Visayas at Southern Luzon na makakaapekto sa southwest monsoon.
Dagdag pa nito, maituturing na “wetter months” sa bansa ang mga buwan ng July at August.
Samantala, opisyal namang nagsimula ng panahon ng tag-ulan noong May 30.
