Philippine Army nagsagawa ng crisis response exercise

Sumailalim sa crisis response exercise ang mga tauhan ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng 33rd Infantry (Makabayan) Battalion at Task Force Talakudong sa Tacurong City sa Sultan Kudarat.

Layon ng simulation exercise na lalo pang hasain ang mga sundalo sa pagsabak sa military operations in urban terrain (MOUT).

Naging hudyat ng pagsasanay ang pagdiskarga sa mga fully-armed assaulter na isinakay sa apat na armored vehicles sa kahabaan ng Isulan-Tacurong highway.

Matapos ito ay pinasok ng mga sindalo ang tatlong palapag na SKEI building na kunwari ay kinubkob ng mga armadong suspek.

Kaisa din sa nasabing pagsasanay ang City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) at ang Tacurong Police and Traffic Management office.

Bago ang nasabing pagsasanay, ang 33rd Infantry Battalion ay nakapagsagawa na ng serye ng training sa Sniping, Short Range Marksmanship, Close Quarter Combat, Combat Life Saver, Anti-Armor at Mechanized Infantry Operations sa urban environment.

“The new trend of armed conflicts around the world is urban warfare. The Philippines has its own experience on urban warfare in the past 20 years. We are drawing valuable lessons from these conflicts,” ayon kay Lt. Col. Harold M Cabunoc.
